How Euro Logik Got Started

Euro Logik first opened its doors in 2018 as a European-focused independent repair shop serving the Houston area. In 2024, Saad — a lifelong Houstonian who had originally come to Euro Logik as a customer — recognized something most people wouldn’t: that the business had more potential than it was reaching. After a series of conversations with the previous owners about ways to grow the operation, they made a decision that surprised even him. Rather than act on his suggestions themselves, they offered to sell him the shop. He bought it, brought in the right partner, and got to work.

The Partnership Behind the Business

Around the time of the acquisition, Saad connected with Chris Mattox, and the two formed a partnership built on complementary strengths. Chris brings over 20 years of hands-on experience as a Mercedes-Benz technician, including time spent owning and operating his own Mercedes-only repair facility in Southern California before relocating to Houston. Saad focuses on the business development and growth side of the company. The shared goal from the beginning has been to build Euro Logik into a multi-location operation throughout the greater Houston area — and with shops now open in both Katy and Houston, that vision is already taking shape. As Saad puts it, Chris is the face of the brand.

What Sets Euro Logik Apart

The thing that drives every decision at Euro Logik is a commitment to fixing vehicles correctly the first time. That sounds simple, but it requires discipline that a lot of shops don’t maintain. It means turning down low-quality aftermarket parts in favor of OEM and factory-quality components, even when cheaper options are available. It means investing in factory diagnostic equipment and advanced software systems rather than relying on generic tools that approximate results. And it means having a dedicated shop foreman who performs a final quality control inspection on every repair before a vehicle leaves the building — a step that is genuinely uncommon at independent repair facilities. The payoff is a customer base that rarely comes back with the same problem twice.

Outside the Shop

Both Chris and Saad are sports fans and car enthusiasts, and a fair amount of their free time reflects that. Automotive events and watching sports are a regular part of the mix for both of them, and family time is equally important to each. Chris lives in Fulshear with his wife, two young children, and Louis — his French bulldog and the unofficial shop dog. He also spends a significant amount of time coaching his kids’ wrestling teams. Saad is a lifelong Houstonian, married, and deeply rooted in the community his business serves.
